Which Calorie App Should You Use?
Firstly, I want to make it clear that it isn’t a ‘must’ for you to be tracking your calories, even if fat loss is the goal. You can lose fat without tracking your calories.
So Why Do I Suggest Tracking Calories Then?
I suggest tracking calories, even just for 7 days, because most people have no idea what foods contain what calories. Some people will eat an entire bag of almond nuts because it is labelled as healthy, but little do they know that almonds are exceptionally high in calories.
Benefits of Tracking Calories To Start:
You will get a better understanding of the foods you are consuming.
You can make calculated choices
Gained knowledge on food and it’s calories
Tracking calories will give you a good guideline of what you are consuming
Better understanding of your choices
Allow you to proceed in the future by being mindful around your choices.
Tracking calories is just one of the many fat loss tools in your fat loss tool box!

MyFitnessPal
Fat Secret
MyNetDiary
Cronometer
FAQ about tracking apps:
Do you need the premium version?
No, you don’t. The free version on most these apps is good enough for keeping an eye on your calories and learning from the foods consumed.
Which app is best?
They all pretty much do the same thing - Find one that you prefer working with. It is as simple as that.
Do I need to log calories forever?
Absolutely not! The goal is to learn from logging and once you have a good understanding and more knowledge from logging your foods to move away from tracking calories. Again, it is just a tool, not a life sentence.
