It doesn’t mean that you need protein powder for fat loss.
It is crazy what a couple of well know influencers and marketing can do for your mindset when it comes to certain products and fat loss.

My goodness, if I had a discount code for you, I would be making a fortune on commissions.
(Because a discount code really means commission to the influencer promoting the product).
Here’s the thing, and I want you to understand this:

Here’s what can and will help your fat loss:
Eating enough protein in general.
Doesn’t matter source of protein it is.
Eating protein with each meal.
It doesn’t have to be protein powder.
Just normal protein will work.
In actual fact, a solid source of protein can take longer to digest, which will keep you fuller for longer, compared to liquid protein.
If you are going to the gym, and you are smashing out those reps with heavy weights, then sure, add your protein powder, as it will also definitely help with lean muscle mass, but…
If you are just starting your fat loss expedition:
You don’t need protein powder.
It is a nice to have yes, but it is not a necessity.
Let me let you in on a little secret…
I actually don’t know when last I have had any protein powder in my house or even when last I have consumed any of it.
And look at me, I am seem to be doing just ok.
Stop faffing about things that are not of major importance!
Protein powder doesn’t make you lose fat. You eating in a calorie deficit helps you lose fat. And eating more protein can help you adhere to that calorie deficit.
